David, Mary and Jane at the end of weeding | Weeding Lake Claremont June 16 |
On Sunday morning the 19th June 2016, David, Jane, Mary and Laurie went to our plot at Lake Claremont to do weeding. It was a lovely warm morning and the birds were out in force. A lot more weeds had grown since the last weeding and were throughout the Plot. Spraying of weeds away from the plants had been done about a week earlier, but our role was to remove the woods growing in the plants. After weeding intensely for 2 hours we had covered all the plot, but now had tight hamstrings and sore gluteus maximus! |
