What a great day for those who attended our High Tea. There was plenty of food, wine, music and good company to share during the afternoon. The photos on this page were taken by Annette from Annette McCubbin Photography who brought her retro photo booth along to give guests the chance to have a special memory of the day.

Guests were entertained by Georgia and Jane, who provided beautiful background music, on the harp and piano. We were also delighted to be entertained by Impromptu, singer three acapella numbers. It was a big surprise when the first member of the group stood and started singing, and then was followed by the ten other members of the group. What a fantastic surprise.

Jane and her team of organisers had a number of different activities to give guests a chance to win or bid on a prize. There as a balloon raffle which sold out in about 15 minutes, a large number of silent auction items, a door prize, table raffle, heads and tails and a number of spot prizes.

A big thank you to RAAFA for their support of our event and our own Bruce Fielding for acting as MC for the day. Bruce kept the day on track and lots of fun...a natural MC.

An especially HUGE thank you to Jane for the huge amount of work she put into the event. She was a believer in the success of the event from day one and while she had to push some members to come on board, was successful in organsing a great event. Thanks also to all members for their support, especially those who helped with set up on Saturday and Sunday and Soozie Ross for all her help both days.

Members, start thinking about who you can approach for prizes and table bookings next year.

Michael will annoounce the final amount raised however it appears to be approxinately $12,000...well done team!
