Geoff won the prize for the biggest weed

Adopt a Spot at Lake Claremont

Geoff, Harry, Craig, Byron and Judy (with help fromJudy's grandson Joe) spent two hours weeding the club's "spot" at Lake Claremont on Sunday 30th October. It was a beautiful morning for working outdoors.

The vegetation is looking great and the plants growing very well. This will probably be our last weeding venture for this year...hopefully any weeds we missed will die off as the weather gets warmer.

Morning Tea - thanks Soozie

Joe came and helped

Geoff won the prize for the biggest weed...it was a gian thistle I think.

We enjoyed a lovely morning tea of scones, jam and cream thanks to Soozie Ross at the Friends of Lake Claremont shed.
