Numbering participants | Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon volunteers |
A group of members arrived at Langley Park at 6:00am on Sunday 9th April for this year's Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon. TRYathletes begin the course with a swim in the Swan River before cycling along the shoreline and running the marked out course within Langley Park. We registered and collected our goodie bag that contained our t-shirt, cap and a few goodies before having some chat time before our briefing. At this time of the morning, Langley Park was a hive of activity with sponsor tents being erected and various other activities going on before the participants arrived. Our team was allocated numbering the kids and then helping out with the bike course marshalling.

Pre-event Once again, it was great to see the spirit of the childen taking part in the event. They are out for a good day in the sunshine, having fun with their mates and some of them facing their fears. It was a great morning and thanks to David, Lauren, Harry, Vicky, Chris and Judy for helping out. |
